A three-dimensional guillotine pendant — bold, sculptural, and full of detail. Set with your choice of diamond or ruby, it has two moving parts: the blade and lunette both slide smoothly up and down. Neo-Classical touches at the top and base provide architectural structure — and yes, it’s even built to stand upright on its own.

While its legacy is complicated — and its later chapters far darker — the guillotine was originally conceived during the Enlightenment not as a symbol of fear, but as a tool of reform. It was intended to make justice more equal, replacing the cruel, class-based punishments of the ancien régime. At its core, it reflected the ideals of equality and universal rights.
