The Lucky 8 is our exclusive, signature, double-ended clasp/charm holder/pendant crafted in solid gold. The piece is sculptural, stretching thin and thick, fluidly advancing and receding, taking inspiration from the East and the West. It is influenced by 888, the luckiest number in Chinese culture — as well as the ouroboros and the infinity symbol, representations of limitlessness and eternity.

The first Lucky 8 was born in 2019, in the Original size in the Smooth finish. Since then, we have added an XL size and several finishes, inspired by themes explored in the antique jewelry that we love. The Stellar echoes the texture of a favorite Georgian chain; the Hammered looks back to the look and feel of rich ancient gold; the Toi+Moi captures the romantic “you and me” sentiment of the engagement ring Napoleon presented to Josephine in the late 18th century; the Snake is a descendent of the age-old ouroboros; and the Twist ties back to the knot motif, expressing the bonds of love.

The Lucky 8 opens on both ends via a push-in spring mechanism — keeping your pendants and charms separated and visible. Create thematic charm pairings using the two sides — such as love and luck ( heart and four leaf clover, for example). Your imagination is the limit.
