A friendly coiled French snake set with gemstones is a versatile companion to your chain wardrobe. Wear on a chain as a pendant, or thread a chain through the coils to wear as a slide. Additionally, use it to keep chains in a neck stack together, passing them though the clever hinged locking mechanism on the reverse. This was originally a slide, worn on a sautoir. In more recent times, it was transformed into a pendant/slide, with the addition of hidden loops on either end of the snake.

This snake is paired with an 18 inch contemporary, antique-inspired 14k gold chain with alternating textured and smooth links, made in Italy. Note that the other chains shown are not included.
