Antique Edwardian Turquoise and Gold Long Chain Necklace
Nature and refinement, in one elegant chain. This full length gold guard chain, circa 1900, features 25 alternating stations of gold and turquoise. Twelve natural turquoise nuggets of varying sizes, showing matrix, are wrapped in swirling gold wire cages. Thirteen smaller cages are crafted of textured gold wire. This beauty is decorative enough to wear solo, or add a pendant or two to the versatile dog clip clasp. This chain is a closed one (does not open), but of course, due to its length, no closure is required as it slips easily over the head. Wrap twice or three times (one option wrapped three times is shown).
Marked 15 and 625.
