Antique Iberian Gold and Diamond Cruciform Pendant

We seem to have a thing for Iberian jewelry and crosses. When we find an Iberian cross, we pounce!
We have had other crosses — all beautiful, all special. This particular example, from Spain, is all that and so wearable — just the right amount of flourish and the right length to elongate the neck, dropping down to emphasize the collarbones and décolletage. The diamonds are imperfect and glinty, set off to advantage by the rich and lacy yellow gold.
We love this on a high karat gold chain or a simple black cord. We also favor wearing this with layers of antique gold — such as our French sautoir. Go on, have fun, and yes, we’d wear this every day!
