Its body is formed from fine, silky gold mesh — countless tiny, hand-wrought loops interlinked to create a supple chain mail that moves like fabric. The “kiss lock” frame is engraved and delicately pierced with stylized motifs: just the right touch of ornamentation, not fussy. The gold itself is wonderful a rich, warm, buttery hue.
