We are always on the search for a good eagle jewel. The eagle is an age-old symbol across cultures of strength, power, and courage. Here is one of the loveliest eagles we have encountered. A beautifully modeled eagle with outspread wings is grasping in its talons a victor’s circlet set with rose cut diamonds and 2 dangling pearls. This jewel, circa 1890, is wonderfully weighty and tactile, with shimmer and movement added by the diamonds and pearls.
