Whimsical, Exquisite.
We have had several diamond birds, but never one quite like this.
The bird is finely sculpted, with wings spread as if in mid-motion, and a magnificent display of showy tail plumage. It is densely set with fiery, deep antique rose cut diamonds and vivid blue cushion cut sapphires, with tiny rubies for eyes. This work of art in miniature is further enhanced by a halo of graduated deep antique rose cut diamonds. Such exceptional craftsmanship — surely, we won’t find another again.
We adore this worn at the throat — pinned to a high necked blouse or on a ribbon or chain. Or perch it on a peaked lapel. We’d even keep this in a display case to admire it purely for its beauty!
