The foiled chrysoberyl on this pear cluster ring are superb. Each stone is precisely cut and set in the distinctive manner of 18th century Portuguese gemstone jewelry. See "Five Centuries of Jewellery National Museum of Ancient Art, Lisbon. This chrysoberyl cluster was part of a larger, silver backed cluster, itself part of a larger piece, such as a stomacher or earrings. The ring has been meticulously restored in NYC, with a new 18k rayed gold back. The result is gorgeous and preserves the beauty and spirit of the ring’s heritage.

A very wearable Portuguese cluster ring, as most are very much larger.

Unmarked.

Dimensions/weight:

●       18.5 mm long

●       13 mm wide
