A rare survivor, this luxuriously long gold chain. circa 1900, comes from bygone Imperial Russia. A classic oval cable link is finished on each end with a clasp — one spring ring and one hinged screw closure swivel dog clasp. Hang pendants or charms from the clasps or add a Luck and Lockets Lucky 8 Clasp and Charmholder. Measuring 64 inches, this chain can be worn in myriad ways, with or without other adornment. Its simplicity is its beauty.

Marked on both ends of chain and at the clasps with the Russian 56 zolotnik gold mark, with left facing female head, in use until 1908.
