Wonderful agate demi-parure, circa 1820. The agate panels are in cut down settings, with integrated clasps. The polished translucent agates evoke landscapes in miniature. The rivière is a very wearable length, in contrast to many others of the period, which tend to be shorter. It is accompanied by its original matching bracelet, and the two can be worn clasped together as a longer necklace, for a totally different look.
