Fringe, Elemental.
A fringe of classical palmettes impart an Egyptian revival element to this luxuriously dense and drapey French collar, circa 1900. Each plaque is dimensional and weighty, joined to each other by freely mobile links, allowing the collar to curve to the body.
Experiment with ways to wear this collar, such as adding a chain bracelet as a “hidden” extender when the mood strikes, for a longer look. If you require a custom length removable extender chain, please contact us. (Collar is shown in photo worn with a short extender chain on the back for extra length).
We have seen other French fringe collars with seemingly similar design, but most often those are much lighter in weight. Our collar is for those of us who favor their gold substantial.
