Showstopper, Dazzler.
This is perhaps one of our favorite seal fobs ever, ever, ever, and we are confident we will never find another.
The main attraction — the incredibly beautiful cushion cut, vivid pinkish-red rubies (likely Burmese) that encrust the top surfaces of this fob — even the bail! The rubies are nestled closely together, with just touches of the gold showing. The seal itself is a large amethyst (not engraved) — and can we say we absolutely adore the combination of the purple of the amethyst with the pinkish-red of the rubies?!
Wear this on a period chain long enough so that you can look down to admire those rubies (and yes, you won’t be able to resist).
