The floral centerpiece is a profusion of antique rose cut diamonds set in silver collets over gold, originally an antique, late Georgian-era French brooch and clasp. It has been brought into the 21st century by the skillful addition of a handcrafted cuff in silver over gold. The cuff is grooved, to echo the lines of the collets. For ease of wear, the cuff opens on a kick hinge. An elegant handcrafted gold figure 8 safety catch secures the cuff. Modern work was done by hand in NYC.

Unmarked. The original brooch was marked with the French eagle’s head.
