Here we have a fabulously wearable portrait gallery of six hardstone cameos in rich tones of black, orange, and brown. The bangle is masterfully crafted in gold, pierced with a gloriously intricate foliate design. So French, and the gold is in that distinctively Gallic shade of yellow with a touch of rose.
The cameos depict classical heads, including Psyche and Hermes, identified by their attributes of butterfly wings and winged cap.
We love this bangle for its artistry and strong look, softened by the delicacy of the pierced gold work. So much detail, yet unfussy and confidently chic.
The tongue is on a hinge, a sign of quality and so useful to aligning the clasp without stress to the bangle.
