Antique Belle Epoque Diamond Long Plaque Ring
Lightness and Grace.
This antique beauty, wrought in platinum over gold, is big and bold, yet elegant and airy. Tendrils and scrolls of platinum create an ethereal and lacy tapered centerpiece, set with 25 old mine cut diamonds to scintillating effect. The shank is positioned low, with 2/3 of the plaque rising above — we think this looks like a tall, regal tiara for the finger!
Wear this as a “one and done,” as the plaque will span knuckle to knuckle, even for those of us with long phalanges! There are many period elongated dinner rings out there — but few in this extra long, extra dramatic configuration. We favor this one on the middle finger (classic) or the pointer (so chic). Prepare for compliments.
Super comfortable on the hand, thanks to the low profile and curvature to the underside of the plaque, hugging the contours of the finger.
We’ve wanted one of these emphatically long diamond plaque rings for some time for the shop, and we are so thrilled we finally found this one!
