A classic equestrian motif is elegantly rendered as a luxe 18k gold horseshoe nail, topped with a carved amethyst as the nailhead. This supremely wearable cuff is signature Gucci, circa early 2000s, but it brings to mind the horseshoe nail bangles popular more than 100 years ago, in the Edwardian era, as seen here.
The cuff opens and closes on a sprung (kick) hinge.
Marked Gucci, Made in Italy, 750, 472AR, “17” (17 cm bangle size).
