This is the first medallion we have acquired of the Virgin Mary and Child — simply because it is so gorgeous. A special piece of faith and devotion, but also of great beauty.
The ruby halo and rose cut diamond accents add just the right touch of color and sparkle to the richly sculpted mother and child. The figures are rendered in exquisite detail, down to the folds in the garments and the delicate faces.
A lovely, larger sized medallion pendant.
