A French full length gold sautoir, late 19th century, with a wonderful balance of filigreed scroll plaques joined by clean paper clip style links. The best of an old world and modern look. The chain is “closed” — with a good sized bolt spring ring in the center of the chain to suspend charms and pendants. Long enough to wear doubled or tripled, with or without pendants. A wardrobe staple to reach for time and again.
