Charming, Convertible.

All original Georgian flat cut garnet clasp with a most charming portrait miniature of a young lady (circa 1740/50). We love her pink dress and flowers in her hair!

The clasp functions, and has holes for 10 strands of chain, pearls, or beads. We added a simple silver rolo chain to wear this as a necklace (without altering the original condition of the clasp), and the buyer can easily remove the chain, if desired.
