In the Decontructed Series, classic Victorian and Edwardian long chains are reconfigured for modern versatility. A Victorian long guard chain, crafted in silver in a bold elongated belcher link, has been given new life as 3 shorter, wearable chains.
Each chain is finished on the ends with new, heavy gauge open loops in 14k yellow gold. Complete the chain with the addition of the Luck and Lockets Lucky 8 Clasps and Charm Holders. For each Deconstructed Series, the loops are made in NYC to our custom specifications to complement the chain and to accommodate the Lucky8s.
With all 3 chains, play with layering, combining, and connecting; mix your metals by freely incorporating white, yellow, and rose Lucky 8s. So many possibilities!
We favor antique silver for its soft look and feel. We also appreciate the construction — with each link reinforced inside with a liner link (characteristic of many Victorian chains of this type).
Chains are offered as a complete set of 3 or individually.
Lucky 8 Clasps and Charm Holders, Guiding Star Medallion, and other charms shown are not included.
